Story

Once upon a time, in the vast and mysterious Holy Deadlands' waters, there lived a magnificent creature known as the White Krakenite. She was a proud and solitary swimmer, gliding through the water with grace and power. Her body was a pure and brilliant white, and her long, flowing tentacles were as soft as silk. The White Krakenite was not only beautiful, but she was also incredibly strong and cunning. She could expel a cloud of ink from her body, which hid her from danger and reduced the attacking power of any creature foolish enough to try and harm her. One day, as the White Krakenite swam through the water's depths, she encountered a group of ruthless predators hunting for their next meal. Without hesitation, the White Krakenite let out a burst of ink, shrouding herself in a cloud of darkness. The predators, unable to see their prey, were thrown into disarray, and the White Krakenite used this opportunity to slip away unscathed. As she continued her journey, the White Krakenite came across a school of small, defenseless fish. They were being hunted by a group of more giant and robust beasts, and the White Krakenite knew she had to do something to help. Without hesitation, she once again expelled a cloud of ink, reducing the attacking power of the predators and giving the small fish a chance to escape. News of the White Krakenite's bravery and strength spread quickly throughout the sea, and she became known as a protector of the weak and a defender of the innocent. Wherever she went, she was welcomed with open tentacles, loved and revered by all who knew her. The White Krakenite may have been a solitary creature, but her kindness and bravery touched the hearts of many.

Terms explained

arrow

Creature - Champions and allies designated as creatures gain bonuses or penalties on other cards' special powers. Creatures can be of any champion type. Creatures are a specific race in the Spellfire world. Not all creatures are monsters.

NPC - Non-Player Character (NPC) might attack you first. Win the battle against NPC before fighting the opponent.

Swimmer - A swimming champion or ally can attack any realm in an opponent's formation that shows a coastline in its picture. This also includes realms with pictures instead of maps that depict coasts. The ability to swim is not automatically conferred to other cards, so a champion attacking a protected coastal realm must have the means to get his allies there if he intends to use allies in the round of battle. A flyer cannot choose to not fly. A swimmer cannot choose to not swim. An earthwalker cannot choose to not earthwalk. In situations where a champion or ally has several types of movement, the champion can choose which type of movement to use. For example, if a champion becomes a flyer and swimmer, they can choose how to move. The statement 'flyers cannot attack' does not restrict the champion from swimming to that realm, and 'only flyers can attack' does not mean that the swimming ability makes the champion unable to attack.
