Rarities of the cards

Six different card rarities defined in depth

Each SPELLFIRE deck and booster pack is randomly collated. This means that no two decks or booster packs contain the same mix of cards. The New Spellfire game is even more complex because some cards are rarer than others. There are six different levels of card rarity in Spellfire world. It does not mean that more rare cards are more powerful. Some cards may have strange and interesting powers, but even the most common cards can make powerful killer decks. Just because two cards are rare does not mean that they are equally rare; some are rarer than others.

Prime edition rarity levels are different from previous ones. In the 1st edition, all realms were called Realm, which meant common rarity level. In the Prime edition, even realms are different in rarity levels. Earlier editions had common, uncommon, rare levels. Some rarer cards were called chase cards, promo cards and had separate numbering systems. There are six new rarity levels in the Prime edition and Spellfire Classic, all within the consistent numbering system.
