The Oracle at Delphi - elite of the realms

arrow

The Oracle at Delphi is a very powerful card. First off, being able to defend itself at level 10 (13 with world bonus) and being immune to champion powers (being powerful due to immunity activating before the attackers power) makes the Oracle one of the strongest realms able to defend itself. It would also work well with The Living Earth (506/4th).

There is an advantage to someone who can attack and raze this realm, in getting a rule card into play. Someone wanting to take advantage of this power should attack with Tithian (301/1st), or use Tarrasque (1/FR) or Raze (59/BR) to raze the realm with little conflict. However, for a defender who is successful (note, they don't need to earn spoils, just win, like with Unnerving Aura (69/DL)), victory brings sweet reward, as the realm defender (not necessarily the realm owner, as with  Weasel Attack! (428/3rd)) may search her deck and put any rule card into play.

This card should be used in any deck that focuses on Rule Cards to win, such as City States (30/RL), Nullify Magic (86/PO), Antimagic Cloud (16/PO-chase), Things That Go Bump In The Night (69/UD), Taxation (18/BR-chase), Nobody Wins! (490/4th), Negative Planar Energy (73/NS), A Sure Thing (74/NS), or Out of Phase (54/IQ).

Any holding that would make this realm hard to attack probably shouldn't be used, as it in the combat that the Oracle shines.

This realm will find a home in almost any deck that uses a rule card to move to victory!
