Life in the Spellfire world could not be imagined without war. In some places, scarce attacks disturb the fragile peace. Elsewhere, frightening wars break out, causing mayhem and chaos. Each creature, living and dead, is in need of protection. You will never know when the vampires will strike or flyers will attack your realm. Some weapons will shield us from water, others from air powers. Dragon scale will protect us from the dangers of fire. It is a dragon-scale shield made from a trophy of war some centuries back. It is light and easy to grab. No need for fancy tactics or strategies. Just raise it against any fireball, any blow. You will leave the field unscathed.
