Once upon a time, there lived a powerful witch. She was known throughout the land for her mastery of the Flaming Runes, ancient symbols of power that could be used to harness the element of fire and bend it to one's will.
One day, while wandering the woods, she met a handsome man. Although he was an ordinary man with no special powers or abilities, the witch quickly fell in love with him. But little did she know, he was only pretending to like her so that he could steal some runes from her. In fact, he was a rogue man, desperate for power and willing to do whatever it took to get it.
One night, while the witch was asleep, he snuck into her chamber and stole one of her runes. When the witch realized that her love had stolen the rune from her, she was heartbroken and furious. Determined to get revenge and retrieve her stolen rune, she set out to hunt the man down. She tracked him down to a remote cave and wanted to get her rune back, but once she confronted him, he not only laughed at her face but also stabbed her with a knife. The witch was left with a huge wound that eventually led to her death. But that was not the end. After a few days, the man mysteriously died too.
With the death of the witch and the rune thief, the Flaming Runes were left unprotected, and soon they were spread all over the Spellfire world. Many began to use them for their own gain, but they never forgot the legend of the powerful fire witch, the rune stealer, and their death. No one knows if the man's death was karma or the witch's curse, but now the runes are being used with great care and respect. They remain as a reminder that power comes with a price and that those who seek it must be willing to pay for it.
