Furious, he used black magic to create a potion that would infect the cleric's blood. And this infection resulted in the clerics' magic being lost. Affected by the Evil Blood, clerics became vulnerable as defenseless creatures.
The fear of the Evil Blood was widespread among clerics, and many took great care to protect themselves from it. Some began to wear special amulets to ward off the infection, and some have even asked for the help of dark wizards. But none of that was ever enough.
To this day, there are still those who fall victim to the Evil Blood. These poor souls are often ostracized and shunned by their fellow clerics, as they are seen as a liability. Many of them end up living on the fringes of society, unable to practice their craft and struggling to make a living.
