Story

arrow
The nervous system is an integral part of each creature. It coordinates its actions by transmitting signals to and from different parts of its body. It is involved in everything the body does, from regulating breathing to controlling the muscles and sensing heat and cold. With nerve damage, there can be a wide array of symptoms. A condition known as Nerve Paralysis is a weapon commonly used in the world of Spellfire. After being hit by this weapon, the creature's nerves are unable to send signals properly to the muscles. This can result in weakness and loss of sensation in the affected area of the opponent. If any opponent's unarmed combat attack hits you, you may play the Nerve Paralysis to cancel their attack and cause the opponent to become temporarily unable to use any more cards from their deck. This attack is most commonly used as a surprise defense against an opponent who is expecting an all-out assault.
