Story

arrow
Neophyte Troll was born under a full moon, which is said to be lucky for trolls. Neophyte's parents were excited when they saw their son's birthmark - a large spiral on his forehead that glowed faintly in the moonlight. They knew he was special and would one day grow up as a great sorcerer. Neophyte was always interested in magic and loved to experiment with spells. When he was just a young troll, he learned how to turn rocks into frogs and make flowers bloom with just a wave of his hand. He would stay up late at night reading ancient scrolls about magical creatures and powerful spells. One day, Neophyte came across a spell he had never seen before. It was an instant thief kill spell. He didn't know what it did, but he was curious to find out. Neophyte decided to cast a spell on his friend, who was a thief. But instead of killing him, the spell backfired, and Neophyte killed himself. Neophyte's parents were devastated when they found out what had happened, and they buried their son under a tree in the forest and erected a stone monument in his memory. Neophyte's spirit lives on in the forest, and his monument is said to be haunted by his ghost. You might see his ghost for yourself if you're brave enough to visit Neophyte's monument! Interestingly the ghost is quite angry with thieves...
