But that was until she fell in love with one of the most desired boys in town. Envious of her beauty, other girls called on a goddess of beauty to punish her, and she was cursed. Her hair became a nest of snakes, and her heart turned cold. Filled with anger and hatred, Medusa sought revenge on those who had done this to her. But she could never find the goddess who had cursed her. Her first victim was the boy she had loved, and she turned him to stone with a single glance.
