Story

The Dark Forest in the Wet Deserts is a place shrouded in mystery and legend. It is here that the ancient art of runemaking was born, passed down through generations of skilled runemasters. Dark magic is particularly potent in this area, fueled by the forest's powerful and sinister energy. Within the Dark Forest dwell many rare and magical creatures. They possess the strength and power of their ancestors, but are tainted by the forest's dark spirit. Approaching these creatures is risky, as their poisoned nature makes them a threat to all who draw near. Rumors swirl about the origin of the Dark Forest's curse. Some believe it was brought upon the land by vengeful witches, while others claim that the Gods, displeased with the actions of the forest's inhabitants, chose to punish them. Bordering the Dark Forest lies the Canyon of Lost Souls, a haunting place where the spirits of those who perished in countless wars and conflicts roam, seeking purpose in their ghostly existence. Those who venture into the Dark Forest are inevitably touched by its dark energy, unlocking previously unknown powers within themselves. However, these newfound abilities can prove too much for some, leading them to commit unspeakable acts as they struggle to control their newfound power. Entering the Dark Forest is a dangerous endeavor, suited only for those with great strength and unyielding willpower. For those who dare to step within its shadowy depths, the experience can be as transformative as it is perilous.
