The world of Spellfire is full of stories and secrets. Legend has it that the lands to the North were once the hottest place in the whole Spellfire. Just before the Century War for Power, something unexpected happened, and all these lands started to frost. Although everything has completely frozen, the citizens haven't abandoned their homes and eventually adapted to living in these conditions. During the adaptive period, everyone had a hard time defending their lands. That's why the local wizards collaborated to create a tool that would make the defense from intruders a lot easier. That tool was called the Skull Sceptre and became one of the most powerful artifacts to use against enemies. It's known that the sceptre can absorb offensive wizard spells from opponents and counterattacks. Nevertheless, the wizards, who use the sceptre, can cast absorbed spells to strengthen the defense. After this tool's success, it became one of the most wanted artifacts ever known. Many intruders tried to steal it and take it to another world. But since the Skull Sceptre works only in the world of Frozen Fire, it becomes useless once the person holding the sceptre crosses the border.
