Deep beneath the Wet Deserts, there lies a vast underground network of caves and tunnels that only a few have ever explored. In these winding, dark passageways, the Old Boletus is said to make its lair. Legends speak of brave adventurers who have ventured into these caverns in search of the creature, but few have ever returned to tell the tale.
Despite its fearsome appearance, the Old Boletus is a peaceful creature that prefers to be left alone. It spends most of its time burrowed deep underground, absorbing nutrients from the soil and occasionally emerging to bask in the sun's warmth.
However, if the creature senses any danger or intrusion, it will quickly rise to defend its territory. Its bony limbs can deliver a powerful blow, and it can even emit a high-pitched shriek that can stun or disorient its enemies.
Many who have sought to kill the Old Boletus have failed, for its thick layer of moss and exposed bones make it almost impervious to most forms of attack. However, legend has it that there is a small hole on the top of its head that, if struck, will instantly kill the creature.
