Story

The Undead Forest is a horrifying, dark place in the Holy Deadlands, and few living beings have the courage to venture there. Deep within the forest lies the Ghost Fort, where many books and manuscripts containing ancient spells are kept. For many years, wizards, clerics, and other spellcasters have tried unsuccessfully to reach the fort and claim the ancient manuscripts. Near the forest lies the Undead Sea, home to marine inhabitants. The sea's water is poisoned, making it impossible for living creatures to swim there. The inhabitants of the Undead City have grown accustomed to the poisoned water and developed immunity against it. Legend has it that a dark wizard cursed the forest, transforming it into a terrifying land devoid of light. Everyone who lived there slowly died and turned into lifeless, hopeless, and perpetually rotting creatures. Now, anyone who sets foot in the Undead Forest is cursed forever, unless they know a specific protection spell. To this day, no one has unraveled the mystery of the cursed Undead Forest.

Coast - This is a designation for realms that have an ocean or sea somewhere in the illustration. Coastal realms can be attacked by swimming champions and allies, regardless of the realm's position in the formation. Some old Spellfire realms have pictures that depict water and are considered to be coastal realms.

Forest - This is a designation for realms with forests somewhere in the illustration. Some Spellfire cards are stronger or weaker, and champions get positive or negative bonuses in these areas.
