Unavailing Sacrifice - an event that nails powerful cards

arrow

This silver bullet type card was made to nail some cards that can be very useful or powerful. Specific cards this even foils include Myrmidons (61/1st), Gatekeeper (422/3rd), Delsenora (10/1st-chase), Helm (89/FR), Yorgia Sandow (10/PO), Ellorelloran (93/UD), Manshoon of the Zhentarim (6/RR-chase), Gib Kcir (16/RR-chase), Bag of Holding (28/AR), Well of Many Worlds (77/DR), and the Assassin's Guild (14/NS).

When used against many of these cards, this is a simple counter effect card, but sometimes it can be quite aggressive and annoying, like in the case of Myrmidons, or if used to make the discards for an avatar wasted.

This is a very good card in many different situations, so you will find a use for it in most games, especially in tournament level matches. However, it won't be used in all matches, and in multiplayer games stopping one effect of one player just earns you an enemy.

The use of this card is very much dependent on your style of play. If you want to focus on yourself and defense, there are good cards, but if you like meddling and annoying other players, this is definitely a card to add!
