Berkana is the rune of birth. It represents the Birch Goddess and so indicates fertility and creation, not just of an actual birth (its traditional meaning), but also of projects, partnerships and rebirth.

Story

There once lived a woman named Elara. She was a skilled and determined young woman, but she felt unfulfilled and yearned for something more. One day, as she was wandering through the forest, she stumbled upon a mysterious rune carved into a large birch tree. While looking at it, Elara felt a calling to learn more about the rune and its meaning, so she set out on a journey to follow where the calling would take her. As she traveled, she faced many challenges along the way, but she never gave up, for she knew that the rune was guiding her toward her purpose. Finally, after days of traveling, Elara reached a mysterious hut. When she knocked on the door and told what guided her here, she was immediately welcomed. It was an old mage who knew about the Berkana and shared the wisdom with those who got the calling. As it turned out, the rune that Elara previously found was the rune of Berkana, the Birch Goddess, that symbolized birth and creation. It is said that those who believe in the rune's power will become successful in all of their ways. Elara knew that she might not just find the rune, but the rune found her, so she decided to go back and visit the rune once more. She thanked the mage and set out on her journey back home. Upon her return, Elara immediately visited the rune again and spent a few hours meditating next to it. She asked the Birch Goddess to guide her way and grant her luck. She used the power of the rune to manifest her dreams into reality, and eventually, she succeeded. From that day on, Elara lived a fulfilling and prosperous life, always remembering the power of the rune. From time to time, she started getting visitors who asked her about the rune. But she did not reveal the meaning of the rune to just anyone. She always finds out if the person received a calling or just heard about the rune from somewhere else and is up to use its power against the will of the Birch Goddess.
