There is a legend of an elk named Algiz. He was not just any ordinary elk but rather a spirit guide sent to protect the weak ones. Algiz was a majestic creature with powerful antlers that reached up to the sky. He was said to be able to sense the presence of danger from miles away and would always be there to defend and protect those in need. One day, a mortal named Eirik went on a hunt. As he ventured deeper into the forest, he soon found himself in danger, as a pack of wolves had set their sights on him. Just as the wolves were about to attack, Eirik heard a loud roar, and a mighty elk appeared out of nowhere. The elk charged at the wolves, and they quickly retreated, leaving Eirik unharmed. Eirik, who had never seen such a powerful creature, was in awe for a while. But to his even bigger surprise, the elk started talking. The elk introduced himself as Algiz and let Eirik know that he was there to protect those in danger. From that day on, Eirik changed his way of living and never hunted elks again. Many years passed, and there was a while since the last time somebody saw Algiz. Nobody knows where he is, but many believe that he still watches over weak ones and is always ready to protect them.
