Consequence - the discarder

arrow

Consequence is a single use silver bullet against many copying cards, but not all of them.

The complete list of cards affected by Consequence is: Staff of Mimicry (61/RL), Sir Edmund Bloodsworth (95/RL), Bell of Might (18/FR-chase), Drawmij (76/AR), Onad the Weasel (6/AR-chase), Lord Blacktree (7/AR-chase), Yorgia Sandow (10/PO), Quill Pen of the Planes (8/PO-chase), The Tantelear (9/PO-chase), Crown of Regency (26/BR), Rhuobhe Manslayer (14/BR-chase), Land of Legends (4/IQ), Mimic (88/IQ), and, of course, Consequence (if a way to make it long lasting is found).

However, there are many cards that are very much like copying, but have wrong word tenses, or use different wording. Those include: Fang of the Nosferatu (70/RL), Sivak Draconians (48/DL), Hallucinatory Terrain (42/FR) (uses "Duplicating" and "Copied"), Cosmic Justice (40/AR), Rayden Valers (28/PO), Graft Weapon (91/PO), Gib Drawsemaj (22/NS-chase), The Azure Tower of Onad the Fallen (24/DU), The Shadowlands (2/IQ), and Nosrenda's Amulet (63/IQ). That list all talk about copying, or effectively copy other cards in play.

Unless you are a player who is sick of taking beatings of cards on the first list, you might consider Consequence, but otherwise, dump it. It only hurts you (the -1 icon bonus), and doesn't get rid of some of the cards you want to get rid of.
